Confluence, 2025
Acrylic and texture paste on canvas
40.5 × 50 cm (16 x 19.7 in)
€900
Confluence serves as a deliberate expansion of the Palimpsest practice, acting as a record of transition and accumulation. The canvas functions as a repository for private ephemera, with foundational layers of song lyrics and personal musings obscured by successive applications of texture and acrylic paint. The final composition emerges through a dialogue between these hidden, intimate histories and the assertive, continuous lines that unify the series. This piece represents the culmination of a multi-year exploration, where distinct colour shapes and rhythmic lines merge to finalise the layering process.
