Silver Dream represents a culmination of the Residua practice, transforming reclaimed domestic textiles and industrial packaging into a haunting composition. The work utilises multiple pairs of nylon tights, intentionally deconstructed and manipulated to form a complex, organic web. This dark, structural network is anchored against a reflective silver surface, creating an interplay between light and shadow that suggests both industrial decay and ethereal beauty. The inclusion of safety pins and metal clips serves as a functional and structural detail, mimicking the rhythmic suspension of raindrops caught within the layers. The work explores the duality of perception, offering a visual space that balances between the spooky and the serene.
